What is Career Management?
A career management and transition firm works with active job-seekers who wish to find better positions more quickly than their competitors. We accomplish this through proactive research, customized marketing and direct networking that places our clients in a position to speak one-on-one with decision-makers. This process helps our individual clients to bypass the Human Resources screening process, ahead of their competitors and obtain positions more quickly.
Is OMNI an outplacement firm?

OMNI does provide transition services to individuals who have separated from their company. We also work with select private clients. Most outplacement companies provide a seminar-like service to employees who have been laid off by their former company. OMNI is a full service Career Management company that provides individualized attention and customized programs to assist each client in finding the right type and level of position. OMNI performs all of the writing and company research, along with other administrative tasks for you. We take a one-on-one hands-on targeted approach, allowing you to focus on networking and interviewing to win the best job.
What is the difference between career management and recruiting?

Recruiters work for companies that are looking for people. Career management firms work for people that are looking for companies. Recruiters work with passive job seekers. Career management firms work with active job seekers ready to proactively interview with companies.

How long will it take me to find a job?

Every search is unique. Our goal is to not only help you find employment faster than you would on your own, but find the right opportunity for you. Factors that could influence the length of a job search include: level of position, willingness to relocate, industry focus and compensation. The OMNI Partners program typically costs no more than 1-2 weeks of a job seeker's salary. Therefore, if OMNI Partners can cut just a week or two off your job search, your investment has paid for itself. In our experience there is also a direct correlation between a job seeker's follow-up activity and networking and the rapidity with which they find a new position.
What is your success rate?

We are committed to working with all of our clients until they accept a new position - so in theory 100%. However, our success rate is not solely dependent on us, it is also dependent on each of our clients. We prepare our clients for every step of the job search process and provide all the tools and resources needed for each client to be successful in their search. Our career coaches work with each client individually on the most effective strategies for success in today's job market. To be successful, each client needs to follow our guidelines and use the tools provided. Clients that follow our program are successful in finding their new position in a shorter period of time than they could on their own.
